Introducing 50 State Apes, (patent pending) a most
revolutionary idea. Ape-hangers legal in ALL of our great *states.
As wonderful as North America is, high rise ape hangers are only allowed in
15 to 16 states. Only $399.95 gets you
infinitely adjustable bars.
That’s right, you can travel from state to
state for trips or pleasure and never get hassled again. A
quick couple minutes (with our supplied wrench) safely on the side
of the road and you can go from 12” to 20”
or anything in between and back
again. Or change them up or down for comfort or to
stave off fatigue. Another great
feature is the ability to turn the bar ends
in or out for comfort, and or
looks and this can be done just as easily without changing their
height. Run em’ high, run em’ low, in or out, it’s your choice.
All of our bars are 100% U.S. made from
.120 wall steel and the mount points as well as the control ends are
all standard 1” HD. The risers are 1 ¼” chubby steel and everything
is heavy chromed for shine and durability.
The bars are available in 2
types, with a 3rd coming soon. Our "ST's" have no holes for those
riders who want their electrical wires exposed or for those who do
not have hand control wires. And our "PD's" have holes for wiring
the bars yourself, they are as easy to wire ( if not easier ) than a
standard pair of apes. Coming soon, we will offer our "PW's", these
bars are pre-wired and all you'll have to do is install them and
hook up both ends to your bike.
All handlebars come complete with clamps. Our
unique 6061 U.S. made billet clamps are extremely strong, durable,
and should last as long as the steel bars themselves and not only
are they tough as can be, but they come standard in a super high
polished shine that mirrors the best chrome. Groovies come with each pair of bars ordered unless you
**specify the grenade clamps. Different colored clamps may be
possible. They can be easily switched down the road If you so
desire. Each clamp has 4 stainless steel bolts for added strength
and peace of mind.
We also offer a clamp for the rider who wants a clean line
look, a clamp that hardly shows at any distance. These shiny highly polished
beauties are called "SLIMS," are extremely strong and have the same 4 SS bolts
for added security and bite.
* Check local code requirements, as some base height off of the
motorcycles seat, and some off of the motorcycles triple clamp and
some even weirder yet. Any bar risers/extensions will obviously add
height and could possibly make your 50 State Apes too high and
therefore illegal.
** For special clamp colors, please e-mail for extra costs, if any,
colors available and time frames. More clamps to follow. Individual
clamps can be ordered as well as individual bar pieces in the event
of a fall. No more having to buy all new bars if one side is
damaged.
